Frederick Burkhardt Residential Fellowships for Recently Tenured
Open to students who are a recently tenured humanists; must be employed in any tenured position at any degree-granting academic institution in the United States, remaining so for the duration of the fellowship.

The Geiger Scholarship
Open to students who are middle school through college students living on one of Maine’s year-round, unbridged islands; must be currently enrolled in or graduated from the highest grade level available at their island school; must be magnet student with a demonstrated commitment to their island school and enrolled in at least their second year or have plans to return for a second year.
Native American Seminary Scholarship
Open to students who are an active, full member of The United Methodist Church for at least one year; Members of other Methodist denominations are not eligible; Applicants must be pursuing a degree program at an accredited institution within the U.S; High school students may apply if they will be college students in the fall term; Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale; Applicants are required to be full-time students according to their school's standards for the program for which they are enrolled; designated for Native American students pursuing a degree at a University Senate approved seminary. Applicants must have a minimum of three years of membership in the UMC, be a certified candidate or pursuing candidacy and be born of Native American, American Indian or Alaska Native parent (at least one parent). Tribal affiliation and documentation is required.
Portfolio Award
Open to students who are residing in the United States, U.S. territories or military bases, or Canada; all graduating seniors submitting a collection of six works with accompanying Artist or Writer Statements and Personal Statements (500 words or less) are eligible.
Samsung American Legion Scholarship
Open to students who are junior and senior years of high school who attend the current session of either an American Legion Boys State or American Legion Auxiliary Girls State program and are a direct descendant - i.e. child, grandchild, great grandchild, etc.; stepchildren and legally adopted children are considered direct descendants of a wartime U.S. military veteran who served on active duty during at least one of the periods of war officially designated as eligibility dates for American Legion membership.
